Hello, my name is Zoe and after working in the city, experiencing stress and overwhelm, I decided to retrain and become a qualified counsellor.
It was my vision to create a welcoming and tranquil space for you to work on what is important to you. I am now pleased to offer two neutral locations, Leigh-on- Sea and Southchurch.
I offer a kind and non-judgmental space to work on what is important to you or causing distress. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is important, once trust is built, we can look at and work on what stands in the way of you becoming the best version of yourself. My goal and passion is to work with clients to reach emotional freedom from unwanted or reoccurring emotional difficulties. You are the driving force in your life, and to be reading these words, you have taken the first step towards change.
I am…
– A fully qualified Person-Centred Therapist
– Working with elements of CBT.
– An accredited member with the BACP to maintain high working standards.
I have experience working with:

Please fill out our enquiry form, and I will be in contact for an initial telephone conversation
Counselling or ‘talking therapies’ allow people to discuss their problems or difficult feelings in a safe and confidential environment. It's a process that people begin when they want to change something in their lives, or simply to explore their thoughts and feelings in more depth.
A counsellor is not there to tell you what to do, but instead, encourage you to talk about what's troubling you. The sessions will be aimed at helping you overcome your problems and recognising appropriate changes that may be needed to live to your full potential.
Reflexology is a touch therapy in which points on the feet, face or hands are pressed & stimulated. Areas may feel out of balance which correlate to points of within your body (these may be physical or emotional). Facial reflexology is a slow therapy, it differs from a facial because skincare isn’t the ultimate goal, & it feels different from the feet because of the slower speed & lighter pressure. The aim is to balance & relax you, encouraging sleep & good wellbeing.
Emotional Freedom Technique is one of the new ‘Energy Psychologies’ and is rooted in the ancient Chinese meridian energy system. EFT is based on the discovery theory that all negative emotions are the result of disruptions in the body’s energy system. EFT relieves symptoms by tapping various body points as we tune into, or focus on the problem. This tapping balances energy meridians that have become disrupted when we think about or experience an emotionally disturbing circumstance. Once balanced, the upset is usually resolved – the memory stays but the emotional charge is gone.
Hypnotherapy is a talking therapy that utilises hypnosis to produce a state of focused attention. In this state, a client can turn their focus inward to find and use the natural resources deep within themselves. Hypnotherapy can help make positive changes, gaining, control over thoughts and behaviours.
Hypnotherapy focuses on the subconscious mind unlike counselling, which works with the conscious mind.
Aromatherapy uses plant oils (both carrier & essential) & hydrosols (the water produced when distilling an essential oil) to help support the functioning of your body & mind through times when you don’t feel yourself. A clinical aromatherapy session would usually consist of a thorough consultation, exploring your situation & health, influences on your lifestyle & what you feel you need, resulting in you having a treatment to take away with you & use at home for support. Examples of treatments could be a scented inhaler, bath salts or a rollerball to use at home. Sessions usually last between 40-60 mins.
These services are for anyone who’s struggling and they won’t judge you.
They’re free, they’re anonymous, and they’re open 24/7
