I have a background in the legal profession, working with children and families in crisis. Feeling drawn to the emotional side of the work, I retrained as a counsellor and have since qualified with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I am a member of the BACP. My core approach to counselling is Person-Centred. In my spare time I volunteer as a counsellor with CRUSE (bereavement support) and a local group offering support to carers. I also have an interest in working with individuals going through relationship breakdown.
“I believe that every individual has the resources within themselves to live a meaningful and happy life, and to enjoy safe and secure relationships. I see my role as offering the individual a safe, trusting and warm space to explore their feelings, difficulties and emotions, and to gain a better understanding of themselves and what they would like from their lives and relationships.”
All sessions will be 50 minutes long
Please fill out an enquiry form and I will be in contact for an initial consultation
